Loyola University Chicago
Theatre Alumni Associations

Mission
The Loyola University Chicago Theatre Alumni Association aims to foster a thriving community of alumni, faculty, and students who share a connection through theatre arts. Connecting alumni to each other and to current students, the Alumni Association strives to strengthen both the Loyola and artistic communities by providing networking and mentorship opportunities that are mutually beneficial for professionals and young artists alike.
Goals
-
Host two regional networking events per year, at least one in-person.
-
Host one theatre-going event per year. The performance should feature current Loyola students or alumni.
-
Build and maintain a robust member directory that empowers alumni to connect with each other directly for one-on-one connections and to create affinity groups and small events.
-
Cultivate a social media presence that enables further connection between current students and alumni.
-
Periodically report back to the Loyola Theatre Program on trends and innovations in the theatre industry that the alumni community feel should be reflected in curriculum or production practices.
